Based in London, Helen Sykes Artists' Management is a two-woman partnership specialising in the international management and promotion of classical concert and opera singers.
The partnership is a member of the International Artist Managers' Association (IAMA) and Helen Sykes is currently Deputy Chairmand and a member of the Executive Board.
Helen Sykes is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Artist Managers Association and is currently serving as IAMA's Deputy Chairman.
She has served as a regular jury member of major international singing competitions in Taiwan, Beijing, Italy and the United Kingdom.
Helen Sykes studied at Bristol University and the Inns of Court School of Law in London. After qualifying as a barrister she worked on the administrative and fund-raising staff of English National Opera. Following a further period as a professional fund-raiser, she established Helen Sykes Artists' Management in 1986.
Mary Craig studied voice at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
She first worked in management with Haydn Rawstron of Rawstron Still, and subsequently worked with Athole Still when he formed the company known today as Athole Still Opera Ltd
She ran her own agency, Mary Craig Artist Management, for over 15 years and, having retired, returned to the business as a partner in Helen Sykes Artists’ Management in 2005.
Mary Craig is a member of the British Voice Association.
