Hannah Sandison has worked with British Youth Opera, English Touring Opera, Mid Wales Opera and Glyndebourne on Tour.  With Glyndebourne Festival Opera she covered the role of Helena Midsummer Night’s dream and made her début singing the role of The Cock in Cunning Little Vixen.

Her roles for the London Handel Festival at the Royal College of Music have included Pulcheria Riccardo Primo, Rosmene Imeneo and Alceste Arianna in Creta.

Hannah Sandison’s other roles include Metella La Vie Parisienne, Doralice La Gazzetta, Drusilla The Coronation of Poppea, Donna Elvira Don Giovanni and Fiordiligi Cosi fan tutte, Micaela Carmen and Mařenka The Bartered Bride.

Hannah Sandison has a busy concert diary.  She has performed with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and appeared as a featured soloist in The Wayfarer by Ronald Corp at the Royal Festival Hall.  Her repertoire includes the Piacere from Handel’s Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solonnelle, Mozart Requiem, Mahler Symphony No 4 with the London Mahler Orchestra and  Membra Jesu Nostri by Buxtehude, dramatised by English Touring Opera. 

She has given recitals at the Oxford Lieder Festival, Elgar Room at the Royal Albert Hall, and the English Song Recital at Rachmaninov Hall, Moscow, and performed live on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio 3.

Hannah Sandison is a graduate of the Royal College of Music (RCM) International Opera School where she obtained Master of Music in Performance with Distinction.  She has a First Class Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and is a Samling Artist.  She has been the recipient of a number of major awards during her studies including the Sybil Tutton Award, Caird Scholarship, Governors Recital Prize at the RCS and the Countess of Munster Music Trust – Post Graduate Award.
